The Information Services Department are responsible for the development of bespoke, in-house applications to support both the scientific and administrative functions of the Institute. Emphasis is placed on developing and delivering new initiatives and responding to the changing needs of the Institute.
Information Services makes use of both Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases with new applications being written in vb.NET. The team provide support for these applications, including training on in-house applications.
The Information Services team work across both sites with team members being based at either Compton or Pirbright but travelling between sites when required.
